How to Add a Sender Name for Viber

To be able to send Viber messages, you need to register a sender name.

Option 1. Create a New Sender Name

Use this option if you haven’t registered any sender name for Viber before.

1. On the home page, click Pricing Plans.

2. Select Viber and click Apply for adding.

3. A chat window with a request will appear. Send it, and our Sales will contact you to clarify further details.

Important!

  • Sender name registration is free. A minimum monthly payment for Viber is $290. This money will remain in your account and can be used to pay for messages. To see pricing by country, click Show pricing plans for all countries.

  • Registration can take 10 to 30 days.
  • You can’t use the sender name you might have created for SMS to send Viber messages.

Option 2. Add an Existing Sender Name

Use this option if you’ve already registered a sender name for Viber.

1. In your personal profile, go to Settings > Senders and select Viber.

Note. To add a sender, you need to be a current client of one of the following Viber service providers:

  • GMS Hyber;
  • Infobip;
  • TurboSMS;
  • Kyivstar;
  • TurboSMS;
  • Omnicell;
  • Messaggio;
  • SMS Club.

2. Click Add sender.

I’ve already contracted a Viber service provider and have a registered sender is selected by default. If you want to register a new sender, select the second option. You’ll be offered to contact Sales to proceed with registration.

3. Choose your provider, enter the necessary data and click Done.

Parmeters for GMS Hyber

GMS Hyber

  • Sender name. Will be used within eSputnik only.
  • Login, password, URL, timeout. Parameters from your Hyber account.
  • Alpha name. Fill it in if you have more than one alpha name.

Infobip

  • Sender name. Will be used within eSputnik only.
  • Login, password, scenario key. Parameters from your Infobip account.

TurboSMS

  • Sender name. Will be used within eSputnik only
  • Authorization token from your TurboSMS account.

Kyivstar

  • Sender name. Will be used within eSputnik only.
  • Login, password, source. Parameters from your Kyivstar account.

TurboSMS

  • Sender name. Will be used within eSputnik only.
  • Login, password, source. Parameters from your TurboSMS account.

Omnicell

  • Sender name. Will be used within eSputnik only.
  • Login, password, source. Parameters from your Omnicell account.

Messaggio

  • Sender name. Will be used within eSputnik only.
  • Login, password, source. Parameters from your Messaggio account.

SMS Club

  • Sender name. Will be used within eSputnik only.
  • Login, password, source. Parameters from your SMS Club account.

After registration is completed, you’ll see a confirmation. The added sender will display in the general list.

4. To delete the sender, click the cross icon on the right. When deleting a sender, you need to select another sender; otherwise, you will be unable to send messages.

5. To replace a sender, go to Messages > Messages, select Viber and click Replace sender.
