  • Go to Tilda dashboard and select the necessary site.

Step 3. Field Mapping

There are three request parameters that are automatically mapped to main form fields in eSputnik: Email, Phone number and First name.

Other main fields include gender, date of birth, time zone, etc. If you collect other data in the subscription form (device model, age, etc.), you need to create additional fields and then map them manually.

All simple type fields (fields that include text, number, date, date and time, separator) and checkboxes, drop-down lists, subscription categories are available for mapping.

Additional parameters

There are two mapping options:

For forms that are published on the site and connected to Webhook

  • Fill out the form and send the submitted data.
  • Click Show data from Tilda.
  • Map it to the contact field on the right.

For forms that aren't published on the site and aren't connected to Webhook

  • Click New field and create a request parameter manually.
  • Map it to the contact field on the right.

Example of mapped fields

White space in the Tilda field name must be replaced by an underscore (_) when creating a request parameter in eSputnik: Birth Date > Birth_Date.

Field names are case-sensitive.

  • Click Next.

Step 4. Parameters

In Form parameters and Action after subscription, you can check and edit form parameters and segments where contact data will be added.

When you’re saving new contacts and using double confirmation to validate their email addresses, you need to select an email that will be sent as a confirmation email. Note that a confirmation email must contain a confirmation button.

Form parameters

Also select where a new contact will be directed after confirmation:

  • Confirmation page;
  • Verified domain URL.

You can also increase engagement by sending a welcome email or series of welcome or onboarding emails.

When sending a welcome email, select a welcome message and enable Only to new contacts if you don’t want the existing contacts to receive it.

Additional options for onboarding

When everything is set and checked, click Save. The created form will appear in the general list.

Created form in the general list

Here you can see the statistics on requests and the last update. To delete the form, click the three dots icon on the right.

Requests displays how many times the form has been filled and not the number of new contacts. One person can fill the form more than one time or fill the form but not subscribe.
