eSputnik extension for Google Chrome
The eSputnik extension allows you a fast and easy way to test your forms on any website without having the script installed. While testing, the form is only visible to you.
Downloading the eSputnik Extension
- Open your Google Chrome browser and go to chrome://extensions/.
- Enable Developer mode at the right top corner of the browser.
- Download the eSputnik.zip file to your computer.
Installing the eSputnik extension
- Extract the eSputnik.zip file.
- Upload the files to your Google Chrome browser by dragging and dropping them to the Extensions page or by clicking the Load unpacked button and selecting the corresponding file or folder.
The eSputnik extension appears on the Google Chrome Extensions page.
- Enable the toggle on the eSputnik extension.
Activating eSputnik script
To start displaying your form on a site, you have to copy your eSputnik script and paste it into the plugin.
- In the eSputnik account, select Site — Forms, and press Script Installed.
- Go to the script settings, and click Copy to clipboard.
- In the Google Chrome browser, go to a website where you want to publish your form and open the eSputnik extension in Chrome Extensions.
- Paste the script in the field and click the Add Script button.
- In eSputnik, create a form, change its status to Visible to website visitors, and click Save.
- Reload the page. The form appears on the page in a short while, normally within a minute.
Note
In case your form does not appear after publishing, check its triggering settings and change those that may block form displaying.
You can test your form on that site at any time while the script is installed in the eSputnik extension for Chrome.
Deleting eSputnik script
You can delete the script from your eSputnik extension if you wish to stop displaying your form on the site.
Proceed as follows:
- In the Google Chrome browser, go to a website where you have your script installed and open the eSputnik extension in Chrome Extensions.
- Click Delete Script.
Your form stops displaying on that site.
